Just found out I am pregnant

I took a pregnancy test, at home, yesterday and today... really dark and immediate BFP!

I am in shock, very excited, and terrified!

We just started trying in April, we got lucky and got pregnant right away but had a very early miscarriage. I can't quite wrap my head around the fact that we are pregnant again. I am so excited but now know the pain of a loss and am afraid.

I am going to try to get into my OB today... to get a blood test to confirm and just to talk to them (have been pretty sick (Not throwing up but really bad heartburn, nausea, and am having poo problems.) I know they don't typically see a patient until 8 weeks but I also know they do a nurse consult appointment sooner and I am hoping they will allow me to come in for mine today.

Congratulations!! My situation was very similar to yours and the time between pregnancies was about the same too. I know that after having a loss pregnancy kinda loses that joyful innocence that someone women have but keep strong. This is a brand new pregnancy and the fact you already have a dark BFP is a very good sign Sending lots of luck to you, keep us updated xxx

Congrats and good luck! It's natural to be nervous. Some doctors are better about being understanding after you've had a loss. My doctor had me come right down and do a blood test. I thought I was between 7 and 8 weeks on my first scan, turned out to be exactly 8 weeks. I am 15 weeks 4 days now, and everything still looks great. Best of luck!

I had a two year wait between mc and positive, but once I told my GP that I was pregnant again, she did everything possible for scans, etc., to reassure me -- so if you need some extra tlc, don't be afraid to ask for it (and as you can see from picture, my rainbow turned out perfect!)

Congratulations! I also miscarried in April and just found out we are pregnant again. Due March 2nd. I know how hard it is not to be nervous, just take it one day at a time and try to enjoy this

Congrats! Wow, our timing is very similar! I hope things are going well for you. I go back and forth between starting to relax about this pregnancy and then being terrified! I THINK it will ease my mind a bit once I go to the Dr. The practice I go to doesn't see you until 6 weeks (appt is July 16th) for a nurse consult and then 8 weeks for the Dr unless there is some sort of complication. Good that I am not going in early (means things are okay) but still a little nerve wracking.

The whole thing is nerve racking I know. I'm actually going in for my first scan next Tuesday (EEP!) I'm so excited and terrified at the same time! Really hoping to see a HB even though I know in my head that it may be too early. I hope that if there isn't one I won't freak out and assume the worst!

You will be feeling LO before you know it and things will be easier, you'll see.

I had a MC on January 21st and apparently got pregnant between Feb 6th and 8th I was terrified for weeks, always checking my panties for blood and so scared about my non-existent symptoms... so far we are doing great

My 6 week scan was internal and I was able to see bean and hear his HB too, so you may be able to hear it too

THanks, I am already cautiously relaxing about it a bit more. I figure as long as I don't have any bleeding/etc I will TRY not to worry. I totally can relate to the checking every time you go to the bathroom though. My Dr appointments are a bit different... my first MC was so early (was never even confirmed, except by me and my body!), and because I have only had the one, they are not treating this as high-risk or anything, just a regular pregnancy. The policy at the office I go to is to not see you at all until 6 weeks (and at that point you are mainly just meeting with a nurse to go over information/etc) and then the Dr sees you for the first time at 8 weeks. I am pretty sure no scan is done until 20 weeks (unless they suspect a problem.) Therefore, I can't wait to see the baby but if all of the above is true I hope I don't get to see him/her until 20 weeks!

hi everyone wishing you all the best for H&H 9 mths

I am in a similar situation mc in early May then I had a normal cycle and got my BFP this month. I am glad I am not the only one who is nervous about it, its different this time around I feel like it could disappear overnight. I am trying to chill though My hcg numbers have been doubling everyday and have been high so I have been fixating on the potential risks associated with that.

My gyno is going away the next couple of weeks so I won't have my U/S till July 26 which will b end of wk 8 for me. I hope I can wait that long...I don't think I will start to believe it until I hear a heartbeat...
