just had my hsg, wasn't as bad as I thought got all worked up for nothing, but my tubes are all clear, which is kind of dissapointing I was hoping they were blocked and that's why I haven't got pregnant. has anyone had clear tubes for hsg but still got pregnant shortley after??

Unfortunately I haven't fallen pregnant after my hsg, but just wanted to say that I also felt a mixture of relief/disappointment when I found out my tubes were nice and clear. I mean, it's fantastic because blocked tubes is something major... but it left me wondering "WTF? Why have I not gotten a bfp yet?!" My obgyn wanted to put me on clomid but I opted for the less intense metformin - and I did notice my cycle improved. However, if I don't get that this cycle I am going to beg/plead/cry for that clomid prescription.

I have been ttc for almost 2 years ugh...been on clomid for almost a year...I haven't had any problems with clomid just headaches on 100mg. I'm still left wondering...why I haven't got a bfp yet eithier, ugh. Yeah, I will hit the 2 yr mark in March... and I think I find that more terrifying than anything else. You always see other people getting pregnant when they're not even trying, so you would think when you do start trying that it will happen quicker.

Are the clomid headaches bad?

I too felt that way after my HSG I was like what the he&* is going on then and off I went to the clomid perscription.... and I found the headaches pretty bad and had some hot flashes but other than that it didn't bother me too much, only took it for a few months because we were diagnosed with male factor.

I'm so angry haha I honestly don't think I ovulate on 100mg of clomid I didn't last month and I don't think I am going to this month I feel like I just wasted two months.

I know what you mean about people getting pregnant without trying, my best friend is 4 months pregnant ugh.

the headaches are tolerable i take a ibufrofen 600 if they get bad.

Yeah, my step-mom was on clomid and she got the hot flashes pretty bad. That is terrible about the no ov'ing on clomid - that's the whole point of it! This is my second cycle on met, and although I think it worked last cycle... not too sure about this one. My temps have more ups and downs than a rollercoaster!! :/

Berki:: That's sad about the male factor. Hopefully you only have to go through 1 round of IVF!

Is it more expensive to do the 2 embryo transfer? If not I would probably go that route - just because I am very precautious and a slight worry-wart. Hahah. My theroy would be that with 2 there is a better chance, although on that note if they both take that could mean twins eh?

Yep exactly, and knowing the high risk side of multiple pregnancies makes me scared of twins, otherwise, It would be 2 for sure... we will prob make our final decision based on the quality of the embryos and if any are good enough to freeze

Yeah, that makes sense. It would be great if the embryo's are good quality, then you could just go with 1 and not worry about the multiples. Hahah.

Oh that dreaded "we agreed" card. I usually refuse to agree with anything just so I can avoid that. Hahah. Although he usually ends up getting his own way.

Speaking of DF - He is home sick today. He has a high fever, hot/cold chills, dizzy head and I swear if he had something in his belly when he got up this morning... I also firmly believe that men are the most pitiful creatures when they are sick. I was getting ready for work, and he looks up at me -curled up in a blanket with only his face showing - and goes "Babe, stay home with me?" Haha. I just told him I had to work, loved him and if he wanted I would go home on lunch break.

HAHA my DH NEVER gets sick, in 5 years together, I think he has only complained twice.. but those two times.. WOWSERS, make up for my 10 times being sick.. haha!!

Hi I had an HSG last november and also found no blockage 1 yr after we are still TTC we have been trying for 3 yrs now and just this Oct we started clomid with IUI.
Currently waiting on results from my 2nd IUI that was done late november

No snow here in Maine eithier, which is pretty surprising!!! Not complaining though, I hate snow.
