Just had my sweep

And it was so uncomfortable

He said I was closed but soft, and with sweeps working twice before in my other pregnancies he thinks it may work.

Anybody had any experience with soft cervix at a sweep. Did you go into labour.

Had 2 sweeps so far mummy and nothing!! It worked last pregnancy but I guess baby was just ready for it... averything has to kindnof be lined up for it to work. If baby’s not low enough or cervix isn’t ripe enough or the contraction hormones aren’t strong enough, nada.

Hopefully by tonight you’re getting some good signs! Try walking today and sex as those things can help dilate and efface I believe esp after a sweep and I hope you have better luck getting your LO out than I am XD

Sex is more likely to get your body moving, a sweep won’t do anything if your body isn’t ready.

Mummy were waiting it out together! So discouraging when sweeps have done it before. GL with getting things moving! I’m hoping tonight after Dtd things progress over here!
