I hope you don't mind me posting in here. Feel like I might not belong as I cannot say I have been ttc for long.
Basic details are that I stopped bcp in October - may have had one extremely light 'period' a month or so later, more spotting to be honest for a few days and since then have had nothing. So don't think I can even say we've been 'trying' as i'm not having any cycles.
My doctors have been great, taken blood to check thyroid, hormone levels and full blood count for anaemia - all came back normal so now my doctor has booked me into the hospital for a scan to check for PCOS - he says this is unlikely though (i'm not so sure) I have my scan in a few weeks time. I'm really pleased with how quickly they are getting on with things and not once have they fobbed me off with 'give it time'.
My doctor said once he gets the results back from the scan they can give me something to get my body started as such.
Has anyone else gone through this and has anymore info on what happens?
I really appreciate that so many of you have been ttc for a very long time and appreciate any of your advice.
