Just need some advice about cycles/ovulating

I had my period 2nd september ended 5th but spotted abit on the 6th i have normal 25 day cycles im suspected to ovulate 11th september as it was inbetween 9th-13th so i went with the middle date (i will be 100% sure when i do ovulation tests tomorrow never done them before just gone with the flow really..) .. we have had BD'ed 3 times from friday-saturday .. does that seem enough? Or does it seem to early to have ovulated etc?


Any advice/help would be great

Hiya if you have ov today then bd fri and sat should be plenty!! Might be worth using ov sticks next month just to double check as you might have a slightly shorter luteal phase and ov a day or two later. Good luck!! x

If you do ovulate the 11th (today you mean?) then the three times leading up to today will probably cover you. If you can/want maybe BD again today just in case.

If you've already ovulated today or haven't released the egg but your LH surge has dropped, an ovulation test won't tell you much, if anything. Do you temp? Temping would tell you if you ovulated today, after the fact over the next few days.

I ordered tests last week and they should of came friday/sat and they didn't wasn't very pleased as it was 1st class recorded but i guess thats the case with buying online tests sometimes i got pregnant pretty fast with my son and my last pregnancy which i lost at 8wk so i would assume it would be the same but i think we will see how it goes as we have only just started after iv been off the pill for a few months to get my cycles back to normal again..

We planned to bd again on friday as hes away camping till tuesday and were pretty busy till then but im not sure if that might be too late, im sure i ovulate sooner then average as thats been the case in the past

We will stay hopeful now its time for the long wait hehe xx

The only temp that matters is your waking temp. Also, I'd keep on BD'ing until CD18 in case you have a shorter LP. xx

I will start from today then for temping .. as i did it last nigtha dn it was 98.9F and this morning it is 98.6F which on my chart is a huge drop .. my tests should arrive today so i will do them aswell as temping even though im abit clueless with all this

hopefully a few more times will be enough FXed!

You only temp in the morning as soon as you wake up, so don't worry about your temp at night Also, if you have a 25 day cycle I'd start BD'ing now and continue until September 17-19 just in case you have a shorter LP! Wish you the best, lots of sticky baby dust xx

Okay i will keep doing it then im not very good with temping
will the temp go alot higher when i ovulate then? my tests still haven't came so if i have ovulated early then hopefully we did it in time.. but ill do them when they decide to turn up for a week and see if get a smiley if i don't ill assume i ovulated early as i couldn't ovulate really late iv always noticed middle month or not long after my AF xx

Are you charting with FF? The day after you ovulate your temp will rise and stay high for about 2 weeks (depending on how long your LP is) and you'll get a BFP or AF. You could also ovulate late, it would just make AF late. Just be sure to temp at the same time every morning as soon as you wake up xx

Iv just started on as i never did temping before we just went with the flow and didn't symtom spot much or anything (even though its hard not to symptom spot!) .. like i go on countdown to pregnancy and them tickers says symtoms what most people get and i get them which i think is all in my head.. like today if i ovulated yesterday is Gas and thats what iv had today and bad stomach ache .. seems very odd.. Im not sure with LP i don't understand it i just usually use 14 as its average

Last few months my periods have been 2-4 days late which i didn't understand but last cycle was on time ill chart my temps then from today xx

Iv looked on a website and obviously its not 100% because apparently only way to find LP exactly is blood tests .. but it says "For example, if your cycle is 28 days long and your luteal phase is 12 days long, the ovulation will occur on day 16 of your cycle (28-12=16). Ovulation Calendar uses this formula to calculate your time of ovulation."

So its like 25-14=11 .. so itll be the 11th day which is today but then again i think its between there and 13th thats what iv mostly got .. so i think we will BD again wednesda night & thursday and that should be enough

You can know your luteal phase by charting as charting bbt is the only way to know when you ovulate besides seeing a doctor. My LP is 13-14 every single cycle. If you're temping you will be able to figure out how long it is What CD are you on? xx

You should be ovulating any day now if you have a 25 day cycle every month. Do you have EWCM?? Keep on BD'ing until the 18th just incase you have a shorter LP. I'm sure your OH wouldn't mind Lots of sticky baby dust!

Its 24/25 days always sometimes i end up being fully for 4 days and then the 5th i will spot basically but i still count that as my AF ending.. I think we have done it around the right time but we will probs 14th/15th/16th if OH will that is, hes just got alot going on well he has 16th as hes at his last court session to finalise getting his daughter fully and it all confirmed etc so hes abit stressed about all that and i feel bad but he said he still wants us to TTC this cycle so we will see!

It doesn't matter how long it last hun, your cycle is from day 1 of AF, to day 1 of the next AF. So there is 25 days between each start of AF? I would try to keep on BD'ing because usually with women with short cycles like that, they have a short LP (like 9-12 days) Hope things go well with his daughter!
