Hey Ladies,

This isn't really a serious post, just wondering who can identify.

Some of you may know from other posts I have a giant "bump" of the bloat/twin variety (will know which on 7th Sep :happydance:)

Well anyway, I have had what I can only describe as growing pains for weeks leading me to occasionally yell out "Oh my god my uterus is killing me!!!", however, to put the boot in and kick me when I am down I have just noticed after having a nice relaxing bath (to ease my oh so fun back ache) I have started sprouting stretchmarks all along the bottom of my stomach :growlmad:

The worst thing is I moisturise - a lot! I always have! I have been slapping on the body butter for years before I ever got pregnant!

This has to be a sign that I have grown rather rapidly doesn't it?
Has anyone else noticed this and if so have you done anything to minimise the damage? I thought my years of moisturising would have been enough:dohh:

Chellepot i haven't seen the piccies :( which thread are they on? xxx

yep! stretchys are definitely a sign of rapid growth!!!

I haven't posted pics, have just posted about it on other threads because I had to go into maternity wear already. I should take some, just think I might feel a little self concious posting them on the net lol :)

I'm only just 6 weeks and my normal clothes don't fit! Iv not got a bump yet but I can defiantly feel a change in my belly. As the day gets later I have less chance of fitting into my normal clothes. I was rubbing in my bio oil the other night and I noticed my belly is starting to feel different, hubby felt it and he said it's starting to feel firmer. There are LOTS of twins both sides of mine and hubbys family, is it possible to feel more early on if it's twins???? My mum is convinced I'm further on than we think.

Unfortunately moisturizing won't compensate for your genes. Some bodies are just more prone to stretchmarks then others.

Hmm, if there was a history of twins in my family I would be worried lol! When is your scan? x
