Kim Kardashian false claims to be infertile.

So so sooooo dissapointed right now. Kim did an interview on The Today Show about her pregnancy and tried to claim she has fertility issues. With lots of research I came to find out it was a total sham and just nothing but a publicity stunt. She went to a fertility specialist with Khloe and came to find out Khloe couldn't ovulate but that Kim was perfectly fine and in fact was thinking of getting a few eggs frozen.

How can she claim to even remotely understand what LTTC is like? She does not go month after month seeing those negative tests, get invasive tests done and come up with nothing. Not to mention she hasn't even been with Kanye for even a year yet.

This is one of the lowest forms a celebrity can go to get their name circulating again.

Sorry had to rant about it... I hate women who claim they understand something they know nothing about.

I am SO glad I'm not the only one who saw that and got mad. Inaccurate portrayals of infertility in television and movies are bad enough (although sometimes amusing--I still love how Phoeboe in Friends did a HPT the same afternoon of her surrogate embryo transfer and got a legitimate positive result...). This type of manipulation for attention and sympathy, however, when such an emotional, real, and painful issue for so many actual women out there (who, frankly, would be far better parents), is sickening. If they pulled a stunt like that regarding a cancer diagnosis or treatment, there would be a public outrcry.

I didn't see this! How ridiculous! I HATE when a woman claims to know how it feels. Poor Khloe. Off Kim K. a bit but I had a friend who claimed to have been ltttc and turns out it was about five months she had been trying when she got knocked up. It just really upset me having to hear her woe as me talks.

This makes me mad! Its a serious issue for so many people. An issue that comes with heartbreak, stress and hard work. One that can put a strain on a relationship, and can cause the break up of some of them. I hate when people say shit like that for attention, whether a celebrity or a random person. They dont understand how STRONG those of us who actually suffer from fertility issues have to be. Ive only been TTC for 19 months and it kills me. I have the utmost respect for those who have been at it longer then I have! We need to stand together and not be afraid to talk openly about our struggles, even if it hurts! Ive become an open book, so to speak. It can be hard to talk about it sometimes, but doesnt help me at all to keep it to myself. I want to thank u all for the support u have given, and continue to give, to me, and everyone else!!!

I'm 31, been TTC for two years, and I'm starting my injections for IVF in 3 days...being 32 does not preclude you from having fertlity issues!

I am sorry I have offended you I didn;t mean anything by it...and yes i did word it wrong, anybody can have trouble at any age...but its is more difficult for ladies aged 35 and over somewhat..I do wish you well on your IVF journey and hope you get your BFP!!!!!

I hope Kim K wasn't lying! There's nothing 'glamorous' about TTC! Those comments must have cut Khloe too

Have to second this one. We started trying when I was 27. Now going on 30 and still don't have it figured out. Not so much age as luck of the draw.

One thing Kim does prove is that you can suffer from manipulative lying at any age, too.

I don't think she realized what she started by claiming to be infertile. I suppose none of us will know whether or not she was lying, but with a life so public, it certainly makes me roll my eyes. I feel for her sister who actually does struggle with infertility and has to see both of her older sisters go on to have children out of wedlock (not that there's anything wrong with it, but it's an extra slap in the face if you're a traditional waited-til'-marriage-to-try-procreating type) with douchebags (Kanye isn't exactly a winner in personality and neither is her sister Kourtney's leech boyfriend(?)). Sorry, I'm just annoyed to have found this out.

Just as someone else said, maybe we're all just really hip and cool since we're infertile. Ugh!

I'll third it...we started trying when I was 24. I'm about to be 31 in a few months. Nada.

Kim K will do anything for attention. Pissed me off when I saw it because the first thing I thought was "Oh how convenient." Using "infertility" to get attention...bet that was a kick in the gut to her sister Khloe who has a legitimate problem.

At this point wouldn't put it passed Kim K to not skip out on that oppurtunity. Poor Khloe that must've been a kick in the gut when they part of the interview went on.

Ditto. I'd actually have been more forgiving of Kim's stunt if she wasn't so close to someone who had gone through some real infertility problems, and inevitably seen the emotional toll and pain it causes.

If my sister pulled that now, she'd be limping....
