Kinda gross, but I have a wart on my hand! Will baby get it from me?

So, I had this tiny wart on the palm of my hand for years - I never really thought much of it it was so tiny, but pregnancy hormones must have affected it because since being pregnant, it's grown larger. It's still small but really bugs me now! I'm afraid baby will catch the virus that caused it (although it's never spread on me anywhere). I'd like to have it removed, but I hear it can be a lengthy process to completely get rid of it...and baby is due in 2 months. I don't want to use an over the counter remover, because the chemicals are not so safe...anyone know the best course of action here?
