So I go to a physical therapist for a back problem unrelated to pregnancy, and have been lately getting kinesio tape applied to my back which has been helping incredibly with my chronic back pain. This week, my physical therapist suggested trying some across my abdomen in an attempt to help with my overwhelming constant nausea/MS. I've attached a pic of the crazy tape job but I have to say---I think it's HELPING! It could be a total coincidence because this is my 11th week and I might just be starting to feel better but it's like my nausea virtually disappeared. My physical therapist did say she wasn't sure it would help because the tape only helps with blood flow and lymphatic drainage and obviously doesn't affect hormones or blood glucose levels. Maybe it's a placebo effect but most of the time I forget that I have it on so I'm less inclined to think I'm better because of that. Has anyone ever heard of this technique or had experience with it??
