Kobo E-readers?

I use the app on my iphone & galaxy note & I love it, I have a kindle but I'm not a big fan of it..

I'm wondering too if there is a difference between kindle and other e readers. I've used a kindle and liked it, but have seen other brands cheaper!

Thanks ladies, I have the Kindle Fire and I love it - was going to buy my sister a Kobo for Christmas but don't know anyone who has one.

My sister is a manager at an indigo bookstore in Canada, which was the first place to market these and she says they are always popular and there are rarely complaints.

When we bought my daughter an e reader we chose the kobo as it was the system used by our local libraries and meant that she could borrow endless books online from the library. The library system was not compatible with kindle.
We have had no issues with it at all and all enjoy reading with it.
