Sunday night I went into the hospital to get the cervix softner, had that overnight with a sleeping pill to help me sleep to have energy in the morning for my baby girls arrival!!
6:30 they started pitocin, horrible contractions, then at 7:30 they broke my water which was probably the most painful part of my entire induction because they figured out I was raw from having a yeast infection
I handled the contractions until I was 3cm dilated 4 hours later, then got the epidural. Honestly, best thing ever. I couldn't imagine the pain if I didn't have it!!
5 hours later, they came in to check on me and wouldn't check my cervix because they didn't want to introduce infection and said they would check in 2 hours... 5 minutes later I had my mom go get the nurses and make them check me. The nurse looked up and goes "Oh... Your ready." I literally looked at the nurse, at the baby's dad, and then at my mom and went "No, oh no I'm not!" 15 minutes of pushing later, my little girl was born at 3:52pm on July 15, 2013!!!
This little girl has changed my life so much in the 5 days she has been here. I love her more than anything in the world and wouldn't change a thing. She is absolutely beautiful and the most precious thing I've ever seen! She loves to cuddle and won't sleep by herself yet, always wants her mommy!!
