As I dont know how many me clothes to put in my hospital bag? Like how many nighties etc?
How many nights worth of clothes should I pack lol? xxxx

It all depends I know I'm going to be in for at least 2 days but I've took more in just incase, and then if I need other bits I can get hubby to bring more in

I had pe so was in a week. But I gave birth on Friday morning and went home Saturday afternoon :)

Thanks ladies :) I just dont know lol...Im thinking perhaps 2 days worth? But obviously plenty of pants lol! xxxx

That's a good start to me then maybe someone can bring more in after

Heehee I might put some spare clothes in a drawyer and just tell dh to grab them if I need them lol....goodness knows what he would pick out for me lol!! xxx

I know the feeling that's why I've packed more for myself just incase and left him to the baby stuff

We went to stop at my parents for one weekend and I was already there so I asked him to bring me some more clothes when he was coming across and he forgot anything to sleep in and no socks!! xx

I was induced with DS so I packed enough for 3 days, in case it took a long time. This time I know I'll be in for at least 1 night so I'll take a couple of days worth of clothes an pack a bag with a couple more sets of clothes DH can bring in if I'm in longer :).

I was in 1 night but packed 2 bags and left a "just in case" one in the boot of the car in case I ended up staying longer. That way I didn't have to rely on hubbie trying to find clothes that fit!

My labour started at exactly 9am, didn't go to the hospital until just gone 12pm, had her at 3.32pm, and was discharged the next day around 4pm x

I was in for a week. But I had a EMCS with complications. I had packed 2 pairs of PJ's and didn't end up using either, I stayed in the hospital gowns till the day I went home.

I was in for the night with my daughter. My midwife said after your 1st baby if there are no complications then they are quick to ship you back home! Which I am happy about as I would rather be home as I never settled at the hospital with my DD

Xx

I was in hospital for 3 nights and 4 days, from 4cm to birth my labour was 69 hours and 17mins so quite long but wasn't too bad. He was back to back which can lengthen labour as he had to turn, I packed 3 pairs of PJs luckily.

Thanks ladies :-D ill pack 2 nights worth and have a reserve drawyer of clothes lol!!! Xxxxx

Lol that's the best way. Make sure you keep a very comfy, nice and fresh pair of pj's for after birth. Nothing's better than crawling into that after probably the most amazing shower in your life lol

I would defo suggest if you're not going to take a lot of stuff to the hospital have an extra bag packed at home and ready so DH can just grab it for you, don't expect him to get the right stuff if you just send him off wandering. A friend of mine just had a baby and was in longer than expected and needed more underwear, sent DH home to get some and he comes back with thongs... :dohh: Bless their hearts they do try but we just have to help them along sometimes!

I had to be induced due to PE so was in for 4 days/3 nights (1st night medication to lower BP, 2nd night monitoring and waiting for pessary to work 3rd night on mother and baby ward just to keep an eye on my BP)
On the 2nd day, they told me to walk about for the afternoon to help bring on labour, so I actually sneaked home to grab a shower and get the rest of my things!

If I hadn't had PE/been induced, I'd have given birth and gone home again in the same day.

48 hours with #1 and 3 hours with #2 (transfered to hospital at pushing stage)
