Well this is gonna be short for now, woke up 8 am yesterday with contractions every 3 min tried to deal at home until about 2 pm. Finally came to the hospital, only a cm dialated and still only 60%. They kept me over night, gave me stadoll which didn't help the pain but helped me relax through the breaks. I wasnt progressing and little girl wasn't engaging. I was given morphine to try and get some sleep. This morning I still hadnt progressed. They called the ob who said to get an epidural and start pit. Epidural was a god send after 25 hours of natural labor, I was so emotionally, physically and mentally exhausted. an hour after starting the pit and epi my ob came to check me and as I rolled over my water broke and I'm dilated to a 3. Will keep you ladies update!

Alrighty from being 3 cm I took an hour nap getting my energy ready to push, I woke up asked them to check and I already dilated to 8 cm and I had big time pressure. about 15 min later the pressure was getting super bad and so I asked to be checked again. I was dilated to 10 and ready to push. They called the ob who said to have me do some practice pushes since most first time moms have to push for quite some time. She called the ob back saying he needed to get here now because I was going to push this baby out NOW!!! the ob got there 3 contractions later (the hardest contractions to get through) I started pushing 3-4 pushes per contraction. 6ish Contractions later I was told to grab my baby and there she was. I pushed less than 30-45 minutes.

I was told at 36 weeks that she was measuring 6 lbs 5 oz so I expected this big baby girl.. Nope!

Amelia Julene was born on 4-5 (my deceased grandma's birthday) at 2:25 pm after 30 hours of labor She weighed 6 lbs 8.5 oz and is 19" long
