Well, my consultant rung me earlier to say that both tubes were completely normal, and there is no reason why I cannot get pregnant. Everything is where it should be, and there are no blockages.

Whilst this is amazing news, and I'm so relieved, I'm still a little confused as to why I'm not pregnant after 17 cycles of trying. DH has had a semen analysis, which came back fine, and although the morphology was quite low (6%), the Dr didn't think it was a problem because his count was good.

Anyway, DH has offered to get another SA done, just to see if he gets similar results. He is making an appt with the GP tomorrow.

I have a 6 week follow up with the gynaecologist on 12th Jan to discuss what happens next.

Quick question - I'm on CD 11 of my cycle. Do you think it would be safe to TTC this month??

Glad you got some good news - although I know what you mean about it being frustrating that your normal and still not pregnant.

I'm not sure if it's wrong to try this month - i guess that depends how sore you are. Did your consultant not say one way or the other?

Excellent news Autumn Sky! I suppose that if it's not too soon after op then it would be fine to bd from now? Check with consultant.

I forgot to ask the consultant if it would be ok to TTC this month or not. I don't want to bug him though, so I've had a quick look on the net, and there is nothing to say that it would be dangerous to try this month.

As long as I'm not sore, or uncomfortable, I think we will try. I'll wait till I get a peak on my CBFM though - hopefully it won't happen for a few days!!

Excellent news! Re: trying this month, my consultant said it would be fine but only after any bleeding has subsided as there is a risk of infection. Good luck!

that is so great !!!

good luck !!!
