Last bottle before bed..

How long does you lo take to finish their last bottle?

maisie always falls asleep as she starts drinking hers, so shes kinda 'dream feeding'... it takes her a good hour and a half - 2 hours to finish it.

Is it normal for them to take that long to finish the last bottle? Do you think with this bottle i could add an extra ounce and it might make her sleep longer?

I dont calculatte how many bottles she has or how many ozs she takes during the day, shes all over the place with her feeding, sometimes only taking 1 oz from a bottle, others taking the full 5oz then wanting some more straight after...

Wow 2 hours! OMG I think I would be asleep too!

Shes obviously just a slow feeder, or she needs a faster flow teat! I used to 'dream feed' Leo at his 11 pm feed and he would still take 20 mins to half an hour to down 6 oz..asleep! He's cut that one out now, thankgod!

Tom tends to fall asleep drinking his sometimes, but normally he won't actually finish it, as it's too old for him when he next wakes up.

I have brought some size 2 teats but i havnt used them yet thinking she didnt actually need them?

During the day it depends how hungry she is as to how long she takes, sometimes she finishes the fulll 5oz in 10 mins.. sometimes up to an hour again.

Maybe ill try the next size teats and see how she gets on

i would try the 2 teats laura.....babies can fall asleep with sucking too much! let us know how you get on

Well i just tried the size 2 and she finished it within 20 minutes with 2 stops for burping ( so say she finished it in 10 mins!) which is great for her haha
