I mc'd just over a week ago at 10+5. My breasts started leaking last Thursday :argh: It was a bit of a shock and not something I was expecting... no one warned me! I haven't stimulated them in anyway and have taken to wearing a tight bra in bed, but it seems to be getting worse :cry: They're really sore too... Does anyone have any tips on how I can get this to stop?

Hey, sorry to hear that this happening. It's a bitter reminder of your loss- sometimes nature is very cruel.

The only advice I could find is not to allow shower or bath water to touch your breasts, as this can cause stimulation... Not really too sure how that will work in practice.

I hope it stops soon. Maybe phone your GP and ask for advice?

I cant give you advice, but wanted to give you a :hugs:  xxxxx

You doing the only thing I am aware of and I have gone through it 3 times. If it doesn't clear up on its own in a few days call your GP and ask for some help with the drying up part. The have shots or a pill the can dry you up quickly.

I had this when I m/c at 12 weeks.
I had no idea this would happen and it was a very sad reminder.

For me it only lasted a few nights, and it was only when I slept I would wake up in wet patches. When I told my GP she said, 'Oh how strange', so thats all the advice I got!

Sorry to hear about your loss.
Take Care

I've heard if you put cabbage leaves to your breasts it will dry up your milk.

I'm sorry for your loss. :(

Awww hun, the Dr can give you something to dry the milk up, but the best thing you can do is just leave them well alone, dont have the bath too hot either as the encourages the milk. So sorry you are having to go through this xxxxx

Leave them alone as much as you can.
You can also try taking cold medicine with decongestant in.xxx

Sorry for you loss.

Your doctor can give you water tablets, this will help ease the pain and disperse the fluid.
