I want to get my nearly 6ys DS one for christmas. Just not sure which is better? Any one know anything about them?

Hey we i got my ds who is also 6 a kurio and i had it out to check today and it looks fab :)

I have went with a kurio....I think its more appropriate for a 6 year old, its a family tablet, had the internet, parental controls, pre loaded kids games, ebooks, movies, learning, writing and a smash proof bumper so should last for years...........my son cant wait to see if santa brings him one!

also bought our dd a pink one too :D

just to confuse you even more have you seen the other one called Meep? my 6 year old has just added to his list, but i have bought a cheap tablet on amazon that does the job for much less money.

Can you gets free apps with the Kurio? Or do you have to buy the games separate?

At 6 I'd definately say the kurio. Even my 3 year old ain't impressed with the innotab

Just to throw this into the mix too...we got my little boy an innotab last Xmas when he was 20 months and it was great BUT he doesn't see it the same as he sees my iPad, he still sees it as a 'baby toy' although I know it's not, so for his 3rd birthday we are getting him a nabi 2!!! They look awesome!!!!!
ETA his birthday is in march!

I've never heard of that? Is it like the others?

I'm wondering if I should get the Kurio or just get him the mini iPad.

iPad is a good all rounder if its in your budget. Can't lose with that!

I would go for the kurio out of the ones you mentioned. At 6 i think a leappad or innotab is pointless x

The iPad was out of our price range really, the kurio does the same job really but also aimed at kids and adults, and yes it comes preloaded with kids games but I am guessing you have to buy Ebooks and movies. Good that it has the net too so can connect to school things. Innotab waste of money at 6

Thanx for the replies girls, think we're gonna go with the Kurio.
