Hey ladies, I am very concerned. Friday I was experiencing very bad abdominal cramps and my period was very heavy. I also noticed I was passing something that I could only describe as tissue. So I rushed my self to the er thinking I was having a miscarriage.
At the hospital they gave me a urine pregnancy test that came up negative so I wasn't pregnant nor had I been. They checked my cervix, and took swabs to see if I had STDs and STIs and everything came back clear. On their push test on my belly I had pain so they sent me for a internal ultrasound and the tech. said my right ovarie and uterus looked beautiful but got really frustrated when he couldn't find my left. He kept asking me if i've had an ovarie removed or if i've had a history of cycsts on my ovaries, (which I never had) once he realized I was crying and upset he chilled out and acted like it was normal.
They had me go pee for the internal ultrasound not knowing that the tech. would try the external one because it was hurting me so bad. It just worries me that with an external and internal ultrasound my left ovarie was nowhere to be found.. Has anyone else had this happen and they're ovarie has just been hiding? And if I found out that my left ovarie is mysteriously gone what are my chances of ever conceiving? They referred me to a gyno. office but didn't send any records over, so now i'm just waiting for them to call me back after they get my information to set me up an appointment.
I'll take all the answers I can get! Thanks so much in advance!!
