anyone know how to stop these they are getting so painfull everynight!

i drink loads and do walk in the day as recomended but its not helping :(

Are you getting enough calcium? I don't know if it's related but I also was getting sore calf cramps but started eating Tums everyday for calcium and it got better. I also heard potassium is good -- eat bananas. Hope it gets better...

I get them occasionally (and did before pregnancy), I was told it was a quinine problem, I now make sure that each day I have one banana & drink some low cal tonic water, didn't do it yesterday, woke up yelling in pain at 3.40am...scared the living bejesus out of the OH but we filled the time before we had to get up with some other exercise :happydance:

i take my pregnacare but ill buy some bananas an see if that helps to thanks

i get them 2 hun specially wen im walkin

Eat bananas and when I had it last time i used to but my bare foot on our bedroom wall because it was an external wall and therefore cold. The cold used to stop it straight away. So if you have a cold floor/wall press your flat foot on it when it's bare! Worked for me.

I used to get it every night and it annoyed me that my ex would just lie there whilst I was screaming out in pain so occasionally, if it was really bad, I'd thump him (not really hard) in the back so he'd wake up in pain too lol. Did I mention that I tend to turn into a bit of a b*tch when pregnant lol

I get them to. Am eating a banana a day and it seems to be helping a bit... Only at night, which just adds something else that means Im not sleeping properly!
