Leighton Hospital 4d scan - anyone had one there?

My mum is desperate to go to a scan and is willing to pay for a 4d one so that both her and my boyfriends mum can see our son before he is born

I'm having my baby at Leighton (Crewe), and I'm just wondering if anyone has had a private 4d done there as it's ideal for both our mums.

If not, does anyone know of anywhere around Cheshire or North Staffordshire that is good? (boyfriends mum can't travel huge distances)

My SIL had her baby at Leighton hospital in Crewe and also had a private 3d scan but I'm not sure where. It would have been nearby though, will find out for you.

Hello baby - st helens I had a gender scan there, they also do 4d - great experience

Have also had a reassurance scan (9 weeks) at life through a lens Wirral there is one in Stoke too. They told me I was having twins when in fact i was not and measurements were all wrong so not impressed with them.

Thanks for the warning - I'd have probably come across the Stoke one as Stoke isn't far, so I'm ruling that out immediately. I can't believe they told you you were having twins....... surely that's quite a huge mistake to make, I can only imagine how it must have felt to then find out you weren't

I'd seen Hello Baby and it looks impressive, I'm just a bit limited in that it might be too far for my boyfriends mum to travel really - she has huge difficulties with her back, and I don't think she'll manage to sit in the car for too much distance (probably rules Manchester out unfortunately). I just don't want her to miss out, she's just as important to me as my own mum is.

Yeah I was so happy, but at my 12 week scan there was just one and she said there was no sign that I had lost one. She looked at the scan pic I was given and said that it was deceiving and that it could have been just one sac. Although, at my first scan she did say there was two heartbeats.....so I just don't know.

To be fair though, my friend had a 3d scan at the one in Stoke and she had no issues.


Hello baby, the sonographer was great, We were also 40mins late stuck in traffic and they stayed and waited for us even though it should have closed.

I highly recommend babybond in Stafford, they are fantastic... Very professional & equipment they use are brill so clear etc! We had a reassurance scan at life through the lens at 10 weeks this time & I to found them very inexperienced... I was asking about heart rate & she said oh it's just fast that's all u need to know! Equipment is old & seemed to me it's just a job for them! X

I have just had a scan at Hello Baby in St Helens and it was fantastic. The boutique was beautiful and very welcoming, the staff were very helpful and lovely. They had some great offers to suit everyone. I would highly reccomend this 3D/4D Scan boutique x
