Length/Weight centiles matching up?

Just a quick question really. Amelie is following the 75th centile for length and head circ but only the 9th for weight. This seems like quite a difference to me. Will the weight eventually catch up? I don't want a lanky baby

Yes and she's feeding well. Maybe she's just gonna be tall.

Yeah, and plus, she has no muscle yet, and muscle weighs more than baby chub!

Jacob is 98th centile for height but 75th for weight but he's happy so im happy XxX

There is a chart the nurse used that compares the height and weight. She's really tall and weighs 12lbs3oz, but for her height compared to her weight shes on the 56th percentile. So right where she should be. Maybe you should use that chart and see what it tells you? Maybe give you a better idea where she stands. But don't worry too much. As long as she's eating fine and gaining weight, she's okay!

She's still so young, no babies are proportionate at that age.Her head will soon grow into her spine and she'll gain some muscles and it will all even itself.
