I'm 28 weeks (in 2 days), and for the last couple of days i've noticed my LO is kicking less, but is moving around in a different way more - the sensation is hard to describe; kinda squirmy, wriggly, butterflies in tummy feeling. And higher up too.

Is this normal? xx

Yeah i got that from about 30wks, he just sticks his ass in the air now and moves from left to right, uses my hips as a trampline to stretch out which hurts like hell :haha:

I play footies with him now cos i can feel his little feet to my side and when i touch them he moves it away then back again lol x

I was wondering the same thing! I am 30 weeks pregnant and since week 29 my baby hasn't kicked so much, instead, like in your case, she is rolling about, shifting positions, and "squirming" and "wriggling". I see my whole belly ,move now, as oppose to a foot or hand shape. The movement also feels alot higher up! I was worried about this too, but after doing some researching and mentioning it on here, i feel assured that this is normal. The baby is larger and has less room to move about, so the movements aren't kicks exactly, but more like the baby trying to change position or getting comfortable. So, I'd say that it's perfectly normal. As long as you are feeling movement, I wouldn't worry! :thumbup:x

little man seems to be doing the same he hasn't be much of a mover through out which scares me but I have a angel sounds doppler and his heart is always pounding away if I do get kicks it tends to be up by my ribs, he's hardly moved today must be having a lazy day x

Phew.. thanks so much for the replies ladies! I'm so relieved it's normal and others have it too.
xxx

yes Im 33 weeks and for the last couple of weeks have noticed fewer kicks..more general shifting, squirming, hiccups etc...however when she does decided to kick...I know about it!

I got that too around 29 weeks, I think its when they run out of space to move around as much. I can actually see my bump move now when he moves.

Same for me...i have a lot less kicks now. Scare me at first but I think it's normal. It's strange because it change basically overnight!
