Let's talk CM & cervix position

Warning: this thread will contain lots of TMI.

So I've never felt my cervix before and I'd like to chart position and open/closed etc. How do some of you go about this? What am I feeling for?

CM - another first for me. How do you tell cm from semen residue? Is there a time when its best to chart cm?

Cervix is the highest most part when you reach back and as you track you will notice the open vs closed feeling. You do not check cm for 12 hours after you bd. I have found my cm has changed since mc which is discouraging.
