Lh rise before AF, it does happen right?

Hi everyone,

I am wondering if anyone has used an opk a few days before AF and gotten a darker line (not positive but darker). I've heard we can have more lh right before AF so I just want to see how true it is. I've had some ovary pain similar to ovulation so I took one of the tests to see and got a significantly darker line than my usual ones, looks like the day before it goes positive. I know I'm wishing and hoping it will lead to a bfp as I know that happened when I got pregnant with my son but it was at like 10dpo I got a dark line. I know I ovulated on April 24th, it would be weird to get a surge again. I've taken an hpt and it was bfn yesterday

Yeah opks pick up lots of different hormones and hormones change right before af so although it can pick up.pregnancy it can also pick up hor ones changing my doc told me this said its a wastenof opks. I know for a fact they do pick up pg as i used them whilst i was pg to make sure all.was ok ( bad pregnancy)
