LH surge, then bleeding 2 days later?

OK so weird things have been happening and am wondering if anybody can relate????

I have PCOS, am 25, and have been ttc for almost a year. I am on my second cycle of femara. The first cycle I o'd CD 19, then had AF 1 week later. This cycle is very weird. I got a smiley on CD 21, then had bleeding on CD 23--not spotting, but not a period. It tapered off and ended in 1.5 days. Why would this happen? Has anybody experienced this? I am getting a progesterone drawn Monday to see if I o'd. I'm just so confused. Have been having some mild cramping/sensation in uterus area. Anybody with any knowledge about this, I would greatly appreciate any insight!

I was also getting BFPs on OVKs right before my period. Was really confused. THEN I learnt that there are two LH surges in a cycle. The first is the big one when we ovulate, then second is smaller but still detectable on OVKs and is JUST before your period due to the increase in estrogen at both times x
