Liam Rhileigh has arrived!!! :D

Water broke the morning of April 20th and that night we were admitted to the hospital. Spent a day in early labor (April 21), a day in active labor (April 22), and spent over 5 hours of on and off pushing (April 22-23). Was close to having a c-section but thanks to the amazing support of Rhett (My OH), my Grandmother, and the staff we gave it one more try and...

Our son, Liam Rhileigh was born at 2:39am on April 23rd. Born at 39 weeks exactly (a whole week before our EDD of April 30th), he weighed in at 8 lbs 7 oz and 21in long.We were discharged the following morning and at discharge he weighed 8 lbs and 4 oz.


We are beyond proud parents. He is beautiful and perfect. Everything we could ever hope for. We have fallen head over heels in love with our little guy and even more in love with each other. This is the start of a whole new chapter in our lives and I couldn't have asked for a better person to be with.

Congratulations!!!!!!!! I almost wound up in a csection, too, because my water broke while I was still in very early labor. Glad we both got to experience natural childbirth, though! What a beautiful baby you've got there.
