Life in Manchester

Hi, just wondering if I can get help with some of my questions regarding Manchester,

We are planning to move to UK sooon, and probably we will be in Manchester near Oldham,



So here are some questions I have in mind at the moment:



What do you like/dislike there?

Could you please share your experiences about life there, in general?

How secure is it there, and how is like living with family/children ?

I thought would be best to ask someone who lives/has lived there, so I can get the real picture...
