I lost my pregnancy symptoms at 5 weeks, started bleeding with clots and cramping at 5.5 weeks which is still ongoing at 6.5 weeks. My hcg levels have been rising 9-39% over 48 hrs, last was 4,400. From what I understand, doubling is ideal but even 50% rise would be ok and less than that is unlikely to be viable. I had one scan which showed a sac and the midwife said it should have showed more. My next scan should be in 2 days but isn't scheduled for a week due to the holiday and the wait is killing me.
My midwife said with everything that is going on, it is likely a miscarriage but that the next scan will be more definite. Even if the embryo pulls through this, it looks pretty likely that I will miscarry at some point or that the pregnancy won't be healthy or viable. Honestly, I just want to terminate at this point so I can try again.
I'm so tired of the uncertainty and just want the inevitable to be over with. Has anybody else experienced this?
