I have recently started to love the name Lilly for a little girl if I have one.

My son is Logan, so I think "Logan and Lilly" sounds nice together.

Do you like it? Which spelling do you prefer? Lily or Lilly?

How about middle names to go with it? Our last name is italian and starts with A (if it matters to you!)

I also kind-a like Ivy. Not sure yet though. Logan is a "superhero" name, and so is "Ivy" so the pair would sort-of work in that respect. Not that I would make a name choice based on that LOL - but it would be kind-of cool to have two superhero kids!

I would go Ivy but I personally have it on my list and know 3 people with daughters named Lily... and they all spell it "Lily". I prefer Lilly.

I much prefer Ivy. I never understood this names going together business...me and my siblings didn't have particularly "fitting together" names, but we got on fine with them, I don't see why they'd have to go together like a set:shrug: Ivy is gorgeous though

Anyway I do like Lilly but it's too common for me now. I'd spell it Lilly. Lily looks like Lie-lee

I have a Lily, bugs the hell of me when people think she's called Lilly. I spelt it Lily because it's the same as the flower. I also love Ivy too :hugs: x

i love ivy, my daughter is called Lily but agree with Ilove, it's really common now :(

Much prefer the Lily spelling :)

Ivy is cute but kinda reminds me of an old lady....seems to be becoming popular again though if the baby name forum is anything to go by xx

Ivy is really growing on me, I have my first girls (not that I know what I'm having yet) name all sorted but I'd be very tempted to use for if I have two girls.

I love both. I wanted Lili but OH says it looks like lee lee

I have a Lily so I vote that! :P

I don't like the Lilly spelling, it looks odd to me and it really bugs me when people (especially family!) spell my Lily's name Lilly.

I find Lily is a really common name online but not really where I live, so it doesn't bother me that it's common.

I think Ivy is quite cute too though :)

I love Lilly!! that was our chosen girl name :)

I think I like Lilly over Lily because it seems to be the best shortened version of Lillian. It seems more romantic and classic as well instead of trying to modernize it and shorten it as much as possible. Lili reminds me of Li Li (hear: lie-lie) I still love Ivy too! If a name is Lilian than I think Lily is fine.

Love love love Lily :) I prefer it spelt like the flower. And I love Ivy to, both go really well with Logan xxx

Im thinking Lilly Belle or Lilly Bo at the moment!! so Lilly works for me! although i agree its getting common!! x

Just a memory from past teaching days... taught a girl called Livvie once... gorgeous??

Actually, thinking about it, might have been short for Olivia, but never knew her as that!

I really like Ivy.

I think Lilly, Lily or Lillie is far to over used now so its not something I would pick, how about something like Tiger-lily? I think thats really pretty and more unique. xxx
