Woohoo!!! We are all up-to-date on the front page, and I have PMed everyone who has popped so far to invite to the group: If you've had your baby already and haven't had a PM from me, please message me and let me know if you want to join this group so that I can add you to the front page!!! Those who have had a PM, I'd be really grateful if you could find a spare second to reply to my PM just to say whether you'd like to be added or not :)

Also guys, don't forget that Nutty has set up a page especially for those cuuuuute baby photos in the gallery section... https://www.babyandbump.com/photo-gallery/160643-lion-cubs-family-album.html

Of course, we're all welcome to share them in here too!

So how many of us have brought our little ones home so far??? I know that Ash and Kara have been home for a while now, and Vincent and I are home... Anyone else back home and starting to figure out a routine yet??

Shadow xx

Hi ladies,

Congratulations to you all on the arrival of your little ones, it is so exciting but the disruption to your usual routine takes time to get used to. My little madam yesterday decided to sleep all day (as she is doing today) and then wake up at 11pm to play until 3am. I was not impressed and in between that she decided to throw up all over my bed and nightie...............got to love her though, she is so adorable. How are all your routines going along. Shadow good to see you back, we missed you

Ooooh Mimi (lol odd to call you that now that little Mimi is here!!), that doesn't sound too good!!! I'm a bit concerned that we may be in for a day like that today with Vince: He has been asleep for 4 and a half hours now!! I don't think he has ever slept that long at once before!! But I am dreading what it will mean for later tonight  I might have to go and gently stir him in a minute...

Thanks for the "welcome back" sweetie :) It's very good to be back, I can tell you! Things felt a bit hairy there for a while, but I think (touch wood!) that I'm back on track now, and getting used to having little Vinnie around :) Does Mimi cry much? Do you have any trouble winding her at all? Vincent's daddy seems to be able to wind him pretty easily after each feed, but I find it really hard! So then I put him down, thinking "there's no wind to come up, surely?" and 10 minutes later he is wailing again, and all I can think of is that the wind won't come up!! But he's not a massively cry-ey baby, so I'm pleased at that :D

I can't wait till ALL the August mummies have popped and this group gets really nice and busy!!! By that point I think I'll be a bit of a pro on having a new baby around!!! I hope we can pass on our worldly knowledge to the others when the time comes hehehe

xxx

Ooooh, he stirs!!! All on his own, too :D I didn't have to poke him or anything

xx

:cloud9: omg he is tooooo cute here feeding with me!! We're listening to Fleet Foxes together whilst daddy takes a nap hehehe xxx :cloud9:

Aaaw that is so sweet that you are having some quiet time together feeding. Mimi doesnt cry a lot at all, she generally just makes these whingey sounds and then I know it's either feeding time or changing nappy time. Glad that Vince is a quiety baby too. Mimi does have problems winding sometimes and lately she keeps on having mini throw ups so have to make sure that she winds before I put her down. She woke up and I gave her a bath and she went back to sleep so this time I slept with her, getting ready for the long haul lol

You were right to follow your heart on the breast feeding bit, this time around breast feeding was really tough for me as everytime I breastfed the pain from my uterus contracting was close enough to labour pains. I really wanted to quit but the MW told me to give it another week and sure enough it disappeared but it was hell.

My little Mimi is always having bowel movement in every nappy and each time I change her she decides to have another movement :( the cheeky monkey - the pleasures of motherhood hey. I wouldnt change it for the world though

Cant wait too for it to be a chatty group again since all the August mommies are popping now, so exciting.

Say did you have any problems with Vince's belly button, my little one's belly button got infected and had such a foul smell it was amazing. I had to take her to the GP when she was five days old so that she could be given an antibiotic cream and dressing for it to heal. It was so stressful but it is all nice and healed now.

Anyways take care hun and enjoy your LO

Hmmm, Mimiso, I didn't have any trouble with Vince's belly button at all: It came off about 3 days ago I think, very neat indeed, he just has a little scab left now. Can't be nice to have a stinky old belly button bit!! Hope the cream helped  As for bowel movements, Vince is an angel and only poops once or twice a day! Although last night, on my night-feeding turn, he had the most disgusting sticky yellow poop, it was so gross, and when I changed it he decided to wee ALL over me, all over his sleepsuit and all over the changing mat! Then he spat his dummy (which was keeping him quiet so that the rest of the house could sleep- my mum was staying over in the very next room!) out of his mouth and into the pee that was everywhere! So I couldn't even pop it back in to keep him quiet, and he wailed and wailed (so much for having a quiet baby!)
It was such a relief to get it all cleared up and get that bottle in his mouth and put him back to sleep again!! He looked well pleased with himself after that hahaha

Ooooh, welcome Princess Soph!!! And little lady Summer too :D I just love that name Soph, it's really beautiful, and she was a Summer baby too eh?? Perfect :winkwink: How is she settling? How was your birth experience? Better than mine, I hope! Hehe...

*updating front page now*

WELCOME to grumpymoo & baby Rose and Tsia and little man Mylo!!! Looking forward to seeing you girls in here when you get a spare second!

Ooooh, PrincessSoph, would you like me to add Summer's birth weight to the front page? I don't have it, did I miss it somewhere in one of your posts hun? Just pop it on here when you get a sec if you'd like it to be added to Summer's details :D xxx
