Hi all!
I'm not expecting and not planning to expect anytime soon, however, I do have a thing for preparing names for the fun of it.
So, what is your opinion on Liora (Lee-or-ah)?
Would you pronounce it right upon first reading it?
Would you prefer Leora as an alternative spelling?
What nicknames and middle names would you like for a little girl called Liora?
My DD's name is Eloise and I love the way Eloise and Liora look together. I like that they're similar enough for both names to seem somewhat connected, but without it having a "Huey, Dewey and Louie" sort of feel to it.
Liora is a hebrew name meaning "my light", which I think is super beautiful, especially since some sources connect Eloise to the greek helios, meaning sun.
Thanks in advance for your answers.
