List of essentials for pregnancy and newborns

Hi Guys,

Well Junes here and this is when we go from WTT to TTC !

I can't tell you all how excited I am, still nervous but sooo happy !

Im due to get the on 10/6 then thats it, officially throw away the BC and let the fun begin!

we go to egypt on 27/6 so will be nice and relaxed. We are going to plan my fertile dates but not go crazy with charting etc just let nature take its course I guess.

Anyway I was thinking, does any1 have a list of things necessary for pregnancy then obviously for ?

Ive been having some thoughts but just curious as to what everyone is planning.

Yeps, I would take the folic acid and any other prenatal vitamins you are recommended by doc, and just relax and flow naturally with the whole thing.

There are several threads on this in the preg areas. They get discussed a lot, so look for them in the permanent section at the top of the page.
One thing I would suggest is to go try out lots of different strollers, then keep an eye out for them on ebay, craigslist, kijiji, etc. I scored an amazing deal on a Quinny Buzz with all the accessories - literally a quarter of the price I would have paid for it new. That kind of savings really adds up. And if you have lots of time, you have a great chance of finding stuff.
My other advice would be don't go crazy on baby clothes and buy secondhand - they are worn for such a short period of time that they are in excellent condition at the thrift store. And because they are worn so little, it makes even less sense to shell out a lot of money for everything brandnew.
For pregnancy, I found a good selection of books to reference everything, a body pillow for sleeping, and good maternity bras were my must-haves.
