LO has dropped 3 oz! what do i do?

My LO usually has 6oz bottles and has 5oz most of the time but 1 bottle a day he will have the full 6oz!

For the last 4/5 days he has only been taking 3/4oz.

He goes every 3 hours between feeds,we tried going 4 hours between but he cant go that long yet,he still wakes up after 3 wanting a feed.

He is out of sorts/poorly or anything either.

It takes him 20/30mins to finish a feed,and i am still using newborn teets...
Could he be getting fed up of sucking half way through and need a faster flow teet?

Deffo try faster teats. Newborn teats usually start to frustrate a baby after about 3-4 weeks I think...

Mine's the same - we struggled to get her to have 29 oz today and am having to give her more bottles ont he day to fit even that in.
I am trying not to worry though as I think it's normal for them to go up and down depending on growth spurts. Just last week there was no filling her and she was having 9oz feeds and I was worrying she was havign too much- now we are on 5oz's and I am worrying she'll starve.

We also changed teats to a bigger one and I don't like them and she doesnt drink more just because it's a faster flow either infact she just brings up more spit with them _ I prefer the vari flow size 1's.

Good luck - i am sure it's just a temporary thing and try not to worry.

i would try the faster teats too hun, after 20-30 mins he is probably sick of sucking at it and gives up , lol.
try next size ( i would only buy one pack though until you know he is ok with it, i tired the middle flow ones but my lo wanted to go straight to the fast flow, luckily the store took bakc the unopend packs and changed them for me)

Try faster teats hun, but it may also be the hot weather. Thomas has newborn teats as when we gave him number 2 teats he gags and throws it all back up (must be too fast for him) HV said if hes happy just to leave him to it! All babies are different so its best to try things xx
