hi all :flower:
my little princess has just turned 1 and we found out we were expecting number 2 on her birthday and we are over joyed but....
i had gestational diabetes (that required insulin), pre eclampsia (that put me on bedrest for a total of 7 weeks during the last trimester), polyhydramnios (alot of extra fluid in my belly that happened suddenly), and then had an emergency c-section at 37 weeks due to my placenta rupturing and detaching from my uterus and bleeding out. my little girl was very lucky to be born when she was and she was born with low blood sugars but has since then grown into a beautiful young lady.
i now have been dignosed with PCOS with more then 20+ cysts on each ovary and some how we conceived :happydance:
i also now have type 2 diabetes, and im taking 2 sorts of insulin 4 times a day as well as testing my blood sugars 4 times a day.
i am sooo worried that im gonna go through all the same stuff all over again!! :dohh:
anyone else going through their pregnancy with more then 1 complication...

Ahhh yes, I though i was the only one. Well my last pregnancy i wish i made it to term but we only got to 25 weeks, my son spent 3.5 months in the NNICU,Im also pregnant with number 2 now and so far so good. In my pregnancy with my son i suffered from Preeclamsia and Gestational diabetes which i developed at 19 weeks. Also had incompetent cervix and had 2 surgeries to stitch my cervix and it still failed because i deleiverd @ 25 weeks. This pregnancy i was very terrified at first for being pregnant, i have just recently come around when i found out im expecting a little girl. Try to tell yourself it will be better this time around, I try to reinfource with positive energy daily.

thank you for the response, it is scary going through another one after suffering alot in previous pregnancies. im so glad to hear your little man is doing fantastic! i hope the rest of your pregnancy goes smoothly! :)

I don't have any personal experience to share, but didn't want to read and run. You do have a lot to deal with! I admire your strength and have fingers crossed for an easier time for you with baby #2.
