well yesterday i didnt feel much movement but i got into bed last night and oh my god there was alot of movement, hubby was laughing coz my belly kept making noises.

i fell asleep with alot of popping and movement
i woke up when i felt earthquake and baby was moving, fell asleep baby was moving
i woke up a few more time and baby was moving and i woke up at 6
and guess what baby was moving.

it has slowed down now,but jesus baby is very active.
is it baby?
i can only feel the movements on the inside i cant feel anything if i have my hand on my belly
but
there is alot of popping and funny sensations,my belly just feels like its being churned up.

am i going mad or is it baby moving?

Ah yay!!! That is baby hun!! I started feeling like that at about 17 weeks and last night i finally felt a 'proper' kick. The one where you can feel when you put your hand on your belly. :D

I don't think i've slept since i was 17 weeks tho as my bubba was constantly awake all night.

Won't be long before you can rest your hand on your belly and feel your baby moving :D

:headspin:

That sounds like the baby, you're lucky to feel so much movements this early....i started to feel mine much later....funny you mentioned the earthquake, my colleague is just telling me about it...

thank you girls for reading and replying,
when i had the movement last night i got hubby to put his ear on my belly and listen to whats going on and he said it sounded like he was under water with lots of bubbles in there.
about an hour later after the movment started hubby turned to me and said are you hungry or is that baby moving.
i love feeling my baby move. its a wired sensation.

i love being pregnant.

that earthquake really shook me up i didnt like it at all.

Oh hun, where abouts are you? We didn't feel it down here at all.

Have you got a doppler thingy? They are amazing. Have had it for a few weeks now and love to listen to the heartbeat but the best bit is hearing the popping sounds when it kicks.

im in norfolk.my bed shook like mad and you could feel the waves of it go through the house,it was really loud too.

no i havnt got a doppler thingy but was gonna get one of those 'summer' ones that sits on your belly and you lasten through headphones.

i know it doesnt sound very nice but im not too bothered about hearing the heartbeat i just wanted to hear all the pops and the movement in there.

do you know if the 'summer' doppler thingy work.

Congratulations on feeling your baby move. Mines being really lazy lately and isn't doing much. Perhaps theres just not much space for it to move.

I slept through the earthquake.. it'll take more than that to wake me. Lol

i cant believe you slept through it, it was really loud and really strong shockwaves.

should my baby be really active?
it was going for it all last night and i have felt it now and again already today.

All babies are different and they definately have their lazy days. I wouldn't worry too much unless you feel nothing for a few days. Just phone your midwife if you ever have any worries about baby movement. I think it's not worth risking. Only you know when something is wrong.. or even potentially wrong

no i dont feel worried but it seems to be alot of movement.
im enjoying it.

when people say call ur midwife, the only numbers ive got for my midwife is a non urgent number which is an answer machine and they only check it a few time a week and ive got an urgent phone number which is the maternity ward.

so really i cant get intouch with my midwife straight away its just a case of leaving a meassge and keeping ur fingers crossed that she will get back to you.

Same as me hun... i phoned them last Friday to ask a few things and they only got back to me late yesterday. :(

I've got an Angelsounds one and it is brilliant. I plug my pc speakers in to it aswell so everyone can hear.

The heartbeat is cool to listen to but i love the other sounds that go on. Especially when she moves. It is amazing and well worth the money :)

im gonna get mine from mothercare as ive got a £15 voucher so it will only cost me £15 of my own money,im abit tight with money.
do you need the gel for it to work?
i dont think mothercare's one comes with gel.
will i still be able to hear stuff as im 18 weeks tomorrow but it says us after 21 weeks.

I slept through the earthquake too. Everyone at work was suprised coz it was dead loud and quite violent apparently.

I love feeling my baby move :) its an amazing feeling. Think thats what Ill miss most about being pregnant :)

Really pleased for you! Its very exciting :)

for monday and tuesday my baby was a little wrigler, especially on monday! Today it's being lazy and I've only felt it move twice. But I'm feeling lazy too, it must take after mum.

well mine has had a really active night and today its been really active.
im just hoping it wont be as active like this when i get further along as i think it may hurt being kicked all day and all night.

I imagine you should still hear the heartbeat and movement sounds... i muct admit tho, that is why i bought the angel sounds one as i've heard you can hear it from 8+ weeks.

You don't need the gel as such... baby oil can work or bio oil. Anything like that really :)

yeah you can say it was dead loud and quite violent.

it was really loud.
we have a solid wodden bed and that was rocking, shacking even after the earthquake passed. we are on the ground floor too.
i cant get over how loud and violent it was and it just felt like a gust of wind going through the flat.you could actually feel the waves of it.

I have the summer prenatal heartbeat listener and although I haven't heard babys heartbeat yet, I can hear the kicks and the little red light flickers when baby kicks or moves. It's a really lovely sound xx xx

i think those summer prenatal heartbeat listener type things will be better than a proper doppler as you can us it for hearing movements and not just the heartbeat.
if you dont find the heartbeat you wont panic.

i cant wait til i get my summer prenatal heartbeat listener tomorrow.

Great Isn't it!

My baby seems to get most active on a night time, its waking me up through the night now! seems to like moving about at around 11am too, i always feel i few kicks around that time, and then from 9pm onwards all night!

I got the Angelsounds prenatal heart monitor and its brilliant i always find babys heart beat loud and clear, can hear it swooshing about when it kicks me too. I got a little bottle of gel with mine.
