do banks give loans to ppl on benefits?? or do u have to be working, even if its a small loan?

i dont wanna get a loan from a company that is like gonna rip me off tho obv, i want a bank or a trustworthy company!

I'd assume it is similar where you are as here, and if it is, the answer is NO. you have to have an income from employment.

Me and my OH have full time jobs (well mine was full time when applying) and no banks would give us one

Ususally not, but I know that my mum explained her situation to the bank and they asked if she'd like an overdraft of £1000 instead at a similar rate.

Normally you have to be working hun, they need to see a certain ammount of money going in your account before they will give you a loan

if you don't mind me asking what sort of benefits are you on?

I know if you're on JSA they can give you a loan of upto £500
