Hi everyone I live in england
I have a filling from when I was younger that is starting to come away..Im now 21 weeks pregnant and for the last few months the dentist had given me a medicated toothpaste to keep the pain under control until I was in my second trimester. The pain is getting worse again and he says he can do a local anaesthetic so that he can drill my tooth and replace the filling properly. He says its safe and there is no evidence that the anaesthetic passes over to the placenta but Im still terrified of having it done.Has anyone else had this done during pregnancy or know of anyone?I cant enjoy the pregnancy with the pain but im so scared of treatment at the same time.Any advice would be much appreciated xx
