Hey! I've just about had enough of Ttc this is month 9. I should be having a baby but instead still trying to bloody conceive. Was supposed to have a nice evening last night and then Sis in law announced she is 5 weeks preg with her second! I just want one! Very difficult for me to be happy. I actually don't have any friends now who are either not preg or childless! Just me!! Sorry to rant but I've had enough! Done 5 sets of opks with no positives, had bloods done for lh and FSH and apparently ok. So I'm taking this decision into my own hands now and have soy isoflavones 40 Mg. My cycles are anywhere between 32-44 days, when is the best time to take? How many do I take and for how long to get best results? Anyone had success with these?
Please give me some hope girls! x:cloud9:

Hey, I think we have been ttc for the same amount of time. I took soy and had a 30 day cycle but FF gave me dotty cross lines so nt 100% about ov that cycle, and the next cycle after it was 57 days! I'm currently taking Angus castus, and it seems to be helping to regulate my cycles ovd on CD 22 for 2 cycles now. There is a big soy thread on the ttc board that should help, asI can't quite remb the dose, days etc but I remb I got them from Tesco.

I didn't think ttc would be so hard! Like you people around me and on facebook keep announcing that they are pregnant. I just wanna know when is it goin to be my turn!!! If you would like to buddy up just PM me, all my buddies that I began with are preggers now.

:dust: and :hugs:

I agree, luv. I am so irregular. I was wondering what would happen if I take 40mg everyday, since I have no idea what days I ovulate...:dohh:

I'm sorry. I know it's hard. My sister in law is 8 months preggo with #2, a girl. She already has a little boy, 2 yrs, and I love them deeply, but I am so sad sometimes. :(

Hi , I am on cycle 10 now and I also have quite long cycles (average 34 days).
I started taking 120mg of soy last cycle on days 3-7 but they can also be taken on days 5-9.
I noticed lots of ovulation-like twinges as early as CD7 but in the end I ovulated a day later than usual on CD 22. When I did finally ovulate I had pretty intense ovulation pain, very unusual for me, but apparently quite common when taking soy iso.
I read somewhere that headaches are also a common side effect and some ladies recommend taking the pills before bed to avoid them.

I'm giving it one last shot this month but at CD17 my OPK's are still very negative. :(
Good luck to you, I hope you get good results!

Have you tried OPK's or charting your temperatures? It can be a bit of a hassle at first but you get the hang of it,it's the only way I know for sure which day I have ovulated. :)

DH is okay with NTNP but if we have to start temping and OPK-ing, he wants to wait a year or two. :( Lol and as we don't have a thermometer atm, it'd be hard to even sneakily do that. :haha::blush:
