Hey ladies, just looking for girls in the same boat as me. I haven't been on here much for a couple weeks because it's so frustrating having such long cycles, feels like I'm not even ttcing when it takes so long. I'm on cd20 and just now I. My fertile window according to all these apps. This is only my second month Ttc but I sure hope it works this month since my cycles are so incredibly long....

Can anyone relate?

I don't usually ovulate until CD21, so my cycles are a little longer than some ladies'. It frustrates me at times because it gives me fewer opportunities to conceive over a period of time, but it's one of those things I've come to accept since I can't do anything about it! Still hard not to think about how I could have had a completely full extra cycle by now if I could strip away every day in my cycles that goes beyond that "typical" 28 days...

I am a long cycle lady. I usually don't o until day 21 (which is today). Typically my cycles are 35 days long.

This is my second cycle TTC and so far I've had 33 day cycles so I can relate. I O around cycle day 20 as well. It is a bit frustrating because I have a hrd time joining the TWW with the same ladies but that's ok.

I don't really know how long my cycles were back before BCP but when I think about it I'm pretty sure they were this long then.

I had 33 day cycles, and I hated the longer waiting time. Hang in there, and use OPKs! :)

This is just my second month ttc, but last "month" was 40 days...

I was on bcp for ten years but if memory serves me well my cycles were pretty long back then too. I'm not using opks but according to the app I'm using to track I should be ovulating today, which is CD22.

Really hoping this month works since with these long cycles it'll be a long wait to try again...

I'm not using OPK's either. Too much stress for me so I just use FF and track CM.

I have my FX for you!

I use OPTs but at a long cycle lady I think I might stop after this month. It takes so many of them just to track my cycles from CD 14. I don't was to waste money on 15 + sticks a month!

My DH and I just started our 7th cycle TTC our first, on CD 2 now. I also have really long cycles, anywhere from 35-43 days, O-ing CD 17-22. Definitely can sympathize with you! It's frustrating not being able to pinpoint dates, and still waiting for O when so many others are already in the TWW.

Just have to keep praying, hoping, and waiting for that BFP!! It will just be that much more precious for the wait. Hang in there and know that you're not alone.

My cycles are 35 days long and I've just recently discovered that I don't ovulate until day 21/22.. So it feels like there are less chances as it takes so long to come around doesn't it? :(

I can definitely relate! My last cycle was 46 days, with O around CD 22. I'm actually worried I'm not really ovulating. I have all of the symptoms like eggwhite CM, the sharp pelvic pain, etc. I'm trying temping for this next cycle. Hoping AF comes tomorrow because that is CD 47! At least I'm feeling the beginnings of AF, so it should be soon. But man oh man, nearly 7 week cycles really sucks!!

It totally feels like there are fewer chances! It also seems harder to pinpoint when I'm ovulating!

Wow that's really long!!!!

I was thinking this morning that I actually feel like I have more chances. Since I have two weeks before and after my fertile period.

Good luck!

I actually just bought Vitex after seeing a bunch of posts on here and seeing that it's a pretty safe supplement. Lots of good reviews on Amazon too of people who had super long cycles like me. Many of the reviews said their cycles shortened to within normal range the first month, and lots attribute their BFP to it too. FX!!

Yesterday I took 2 tablets of Vitex and today AF arrived!! I think it's related because I haven't felt any AF symptoms the last 2 days. I also had a massage yesterday, so maybe that helped? I don't know, but I'm finally on a new cycle! I just took 3 tablets this morning. I'll keep you guys posted about any side effects. I'm really hoping I ovulate in 2 weeks from now instead of over 3 weeks!!

I've also been sick with a cold. My whole family has been sick. But, I'm feeling happy today. Funny how being on my period could make me happy!

How are you guys doing?

It's weird that you say that, because that is also my biggest fear :( I am scared I somehow don't ovulate! It's horrible isn't it

When do you guys start testing? I'm 12dpo today and got a bfn :(. If my cycles 40 days again af not due till sat. So do you thinks I could've tested early and there's still a chance???

Sorry to hear about your BFN crazycatlady...there may still be a chance if you haven't missed AF yet, test again to be sure!

I can relate to the long cycle troubles, my cycles are pretty unpredictable in general but they're usually 34 - 35 days long. Such a pain, especially when so much of the literature and information out there is based on a 28 day cycle.

I'm on cd42 now..

No af yet and tested again tonight, bfn :(

Felt really nauseaus today, in the evening thought I might be feeling beginning of af symptoms though :( not sure what the nausea is from though. I don't know what to think..
