Has anyone else experienced this? Shorter cycles and longer periods after a miscarriage. My miscarriage was a bit of a medical phenomenon as I started miscarrying at 12 weeks from a blighted ovum, started hemorrhaging and ultimately bled for 2 1/2 months straight until I was finally able to have a D&C due to insurance issues.

I'm beginning to think that there is something wrong with me. I went from have a period that lasted 4-5 days to having a period that is lasting 8 days. Also my cycles were 27-30 days and now they are only lasting 24-26 days. 0_0 I see my doctor in November, but still....I'm kind of beginning to think that this is the reason why i haven't become pregnant again yet.

I don't have a answer but I'm currently on cd38 after a d&c on August 28th. I've not had a cycle this long in ages! I thought I was now 13dpo but I'm wondering if I've even ovulated at all as I'm getting bfns and have no signs that af is on its way. So annoying!

I'm so sorry your going through that, that must be frustrating >.< I'd be going out of my mind. It's so maddening when our entire lives our bodies do one thing than all of a sudden they are changing. As if the trauma of having a miscarriage isn't bad enough

I'm sorry both of you ladies are going through this :hugs: I've had three losses, two D&Cs and one natural m/c. My periods returned to normal within 4-6 weeks after my surgeries and I was able to get pregnant again easily. Then I had my natural in July and have been dealing with annovulation. I thought you were more fertile after a natural m/c but this wasn't true for me. It is so frustrating not to be able to get pregnant again. My periods have also changed since my last m/c.

Typically my cycles range the average 27 days, give or take up to 2 days either way, with 6 days of bleeding. My first cycle post m/c was very light and only lasted 3-4 days. My second was extremely heavy bleeding with lots of cramping that lasted a total of 8 days long and came 4 days late. I do not believe I ovulated with either of these two cycles because my opks never were very dark. I'm now on my third cycle as we speak (AF got me for September) and it seems more "normal" compared to the last two. I'm on CD6 now and the bleeding is slowing down to brown.

Hopefully our bodies ovulate for us soon and we all get our rainbows :flower:

I hope so lilmisscaviar!
This month I haven't had that much CM (sry if TMI) and my husband made the mistake of saying out loud what I was most afraid of. LOL He just goes, "I don't think you are ovulating" Poor guy had no idea I was just going to burst into tears. I've been really emotional this month because my baby was supposed to be due. I just fee inadequate and incapable lately.
