Hi All! I am currently looking for some TTC after loss buddies, I have 2 kiddos and 2 stepkids and hubs and I are finally trying for one of our own.

I have a history of fertility issues...two mcs in between my two, one at 12 wks (had stopped growing at 5/6) and one chemical. Then I have had 2 chemicals in the last 5 years, the most recent being last month. We have only been trying since December, so it was a surprise but and even though I kinda knew where it was headed it was still hard when af started last week. The line was extremely faint at 10dpo and never got any darker over 4 days. And then AF started last Monday. I do take b6, and low dose aspirin...what I did months up to my son bfp, but also have upped my fertility blend as well as added an cycle regulating/fertility herb blend, a b complex, and a few other supplements. My guess is I have trouble with the eggs implanting correctly...

Anywho...looking for some ladies to keep me company as we try and can cheer each other on during the down days! I am on day 8 of this months cycle...Hope to hear from some of you soon! Happy Monday!

Hi tiptoes I am also on day 8 of my cycle and should hopefully ovulate next monday. Like you I have also had recurrent losses and again I think i may have trouble with implantation. Also it seems to takes us a while to conceive. My first bfp took 19 months and I miscarried at 6 weeks. Another 11 months ttc and unfortunately another miscarriage at 6 weeks. 7 months ttc and my third bfp resulted in my lovely DS. A few months after he turned 2 we decide to try for number 2 and after only 2 months ttc we get bfp which I miscarried at 6 weeks. 5 months ttc and then a chemical pregnancy. And now into month 2 after the chemical. It feels like one mission to get pregnant and yet another to stay that way! But I'm trying to stay positive, I managed to have DS surely I can do so again. Im 36 years old so hopefully I have a few more years yet but hope it will happen soon. I really want DS to have a sibling. Sending babydust your way!

Hi Flou!

I am so sorry to hear about your struggles, I feel the same. I know I have carried two babies to term but I am also 6 yrs older (almost 32) and hate the anxiety that comes with getting pregnant and staying! We have been married for 3 yrs almost and discussed many times whether we wanted to try because I knew what that meant as far as the chances of more losses. It’s hard not to get down when friends of mine get and stay preggo so easily!
Are you taking any supplements or had any doc visits? I have only gone as far as supplements, doctor visits seem so drastic but if this happens twice more I figure I will make an apt.
Also, do you get your hubs to take suppliments as well? I have gotten mine to agree to a few, lol, even though it’s more likely an issue with me not him lol.
Good luck this month!! And thanks for the reply <3

I take folic acid and vitamin D but thats all as far as prenatals. I try to eat a balanced diet but just take the extra folic acid and vit D. DH is on a general multivitamin to make sure he has all he needs. We haven't been to the docs yet but I'm thinking of leaving it until the summer and if we are not pregnant by then I will go to the doctor. This is all just such a rollercoaster and I know what you mean about everyone around you getting pg easily and staying. I hate the fact that even when I do get a bfp its tainted with anxiety when I should be celebrating. I have people around me who sympathise but I don't feel they truly understand, hence why I use forums like this for support. I try to stay positive and remind myself that at least I have DS. Some others don't even get one. It doesn't take away the pain but makes it easier. Are you planning anything different this cycle? How long do your cycles usually last?

Exactly, all of it lol, the anxiety, the sadness, the thankfulness for my kiddos I do have (my step children too), and yes, I am happy to have somewhere to go to talk with others who understand and put things into perspective!

I started some new suppliments this month, one is a b complex and one is a female health herbal blend my bff told me about. She had miscarriages before her two kiddos and said she never carried to term until these. I already take Fertilaid, which just happens to have a ton of the suppliments and vitamins I had done individual research on for extra health and help to the female organs (win win!!) so we will see.

Also last month, the bfp month, we focused on the two egg days and the two days after ov...maybe that was the ticket? I use a cbfm as well, but I think they have a newer model, this is just the one that I had used almost 9 years ago to help with my daughter...thank goodness the test sticks are still the same lol! I had bought it back then because I have irregular cycles, still do, although they are getting better as I get older, only a few days (2-4) difference between months instead of like a week or more. I use an app on my phone as well, but typically the ov date of the monitor and the ov day of the app are off by a few days lol...irregular cycles suck haha.

Today is cycle day 10, and the first day the monitor is asking me to test...so I guess here we go! Hope you’re having a great week!

CBFM test came back low, which is what I expected. App says ov shouldn’t be for another week...but again I usually ov slightly different than that ;)

Hi girls I'm ttc after a loss. I had a miscarriage last month (my 3rd) at 7 weeks. I have 5 kids and always seemed to get pregnant easily but not this time. It took months to get pregnant and then I miscarried. I did a clearblue today and got a false positive. I did two frer tests after and both were negative.
AF is due but hasn't arrived and I'm just in limbo wondering what to think. I have really regular periods and have never been late. I assume it's the miscarriage screwing things up a bit.

Hi WisperGirl!

I would say its the mc...for all my chemicals I never would have known I was preggo if it weren’t for early testing and a few symptoms. I’m usually a few days off (early or late) since I have irregular cycles, but with all the chemicals I was definitely 2-4 days late...confirming for me that something was different that cycle.
For the further along one...it took a while for things to get right again. I didn’t even want to have sex for about a month or so...just emotional and horomones were a mess. Frer are my fave, so glad they went back to a straight flat test though...the curved ones drove me insane!

I hope things go back to normal for you soon...getting back into a normal routine body wise is a sort of comfort at least <3 Also, you could try drinking some Raspberry Leaf Tea...it’s really great for helping your cycle get back on track, it also helps tone the uterus for pregnancy and helps with period cramps!

Thanks so much bleh I can't face raspberry leaf tea again it's rotten I don't remember with my other 2 miscarriages how long it took for my period to return. Just more waiting I suppose. It's all about the waiting after all ugh xx

Have you tried a blend with other teas maybe, or with honey to mask the taste a bit? Sorry I know the feeling...I have been drinking apple cider vinegar with water and honey for a few months now do to some yeast on my skin issues...sooo gross!!!

Hi whisper and I am sorry for your losses. It probably is due to the mc that your cycles are off. It can throw it off. Personally AF came as expected after each mc but I have heard of some ladies where it has taken a while longer. I hope you are out of limbo soon.

How are you ladies today? I’ve been trying to focus on household stuff and spring cleaning today but am sooo not motivated and so tired.
Second day of low reading on my cbfm which again is to be expected lol, usually don’t ov till cycle day early 20 something. So glad I don’t just follow an app on my phone lol, I’d be way off on ov day!
