As above really. OH has lost his iphone. It's defnitely not in this house, have cleaned from top to bottom but we don't think it's been found outside (only place he coulda dropped it was between here and my mums house 30 secs away) because there has been no activity on it, hasn't been handed in anywhere etc.

Personally I think little miss Summer has binned it. Cause y'know, toddlers are pests! So I phoned vodafone to have it barred *incase* somebody finds it so they can't use it. But their customer services are shut so they said I've to phone back on Monday with regards to getting a new sim. But what's the point in giving me a sim if I don't have the phone?

Can't I just cancel the contract? And of course it doesnt have insurance, just my luck. No way am I paying £35 a month for a phone I don't have. Anybody any idea?

xx

They'd charge you a lot to cancel it.

Just buy a cheap phone for the new sim

Unless you have insurance on the phone all the place has to do is give you a new sim, as that £35 per month does not only pay for your calls/texts it is basicly paying for the phone over the 12/18/24month period

How longs left on the contract? With vodafone you can upgrade online upto 6 months before the contract end date although there not always the best deals. Otherwise your either going to have to pay to cancel, which is the monthly price minus the vat x number off months you have left and if its a £35 a month contract could end up costly or as others have said buy a cheap phone and put the sim in

Thanks, theres a good 18 months left on the contract, he's had it less than six months! My dad's gonna give him his old samsung to use with the contract sim and I'll talk to vodafone and see if they can lower the tariff or something :) xx

Vodafone wont lower the tariff, there a pain in the arse for it. There the only company i know that wont. As soon as my contracts up im moving from them
