Lost my baby at 21 weeks, after having mc at 7

So in November I had a miscarriage at about 7 weeks, I literally found out and days later started bleeding for about a week and then tests went to negative.
January we decided we wanted a baby, I knew roughly when I was ovulating and that weekend I got pregnant first time! I knew I was pregnant before the line even showed up!

Anyway we didn't really tell anyone until 19 weeks, told my boss at 18 and told the kids too. My 5 year old was so excited!

Went to my 20 weeks scan to find out there was no heartbeat, I should have been 21 weeks.

I delivered a little boy a few days later, that was a month ago but I can't stop thinking I need another baby.

I'm still off work, physically I'm ok now but mentally I can't look at someone pregnant or a baby or a pram without closing my eyes pretending it's not there! I lie awake for hours at night wondering why!

Anyway I wondered has anyone got pregnant soon after a late miscarriage or should I wait for post mortem results?

I don't even know if it was something wrong with me why the baby didn't survive? I didn't have any kind of works done besides blood but not had anything back from the hospital x

I'm so sorry for your losses. I also had a loss at 21 weeks.
What did your doctor say about trying again? I started trying right away, but didn't end up getting pregnant again for 7 months.

I think once the bleeding has stopped and you feel emotionally ready, you can decide when to start trying again.

Well I havnt had a period yet but we have had sex a few times and my belly gets so sore after it, I went to see my doctor and she felt my stomach an it hurt when she was pressing so she thinks I have an infection in my womb ��

She also said I'm way overdue my smear so god knows when il get pregnant now ��

I also lost my 4th baby at 18weeks, after having 3 very healthy pregnancys and babies... was a total shock.
I got pregnant with my rainbow boy just 6 weeks after my loss.... totally understand the crying , i was exactly the same... just wanted to be pregnant again...
The only thing i would say that screwed my head after getting pregnant was the guilt about being pregnant again. and not having dealt with my grief. but then i am ever grateful of getting pregnant and having my little boy. Hes 5 now and very spoiled ;-)

Oh that's crazy we were the same! It's been 6 weeks now and my period has arrived, it's so bright red and heavy too so I'm hoping it doesn't last long and we can try again!

Did you find out why it happened or have any extra reassurance during your rainbow pregnancy? x

We did have a postmortem done and i had full bloods taken. My bloods showed i'd had a cytomeglovirus (bad cold) but unlikely to have caused his death.
The postmortem , showed him to be perfect and no abnormalities. all they could say was it was unlucky no shit sherlock ;-)
They advised me to take a higher dose of Folic acid, and to take baby asprin during pregnancy up to 36 weeks. both prescribed from the doctor.
I started on pregnacare pre natals when we started trying again. It was an emotional journey ... xxx
