Lots of mucus/discharge...

So we all know that discharge can increase with pregnancy and mine has become somewhat snotty..anyone with me? Well I've just been on a long walk with OH, a good 3/4 miler and when I went to the toilet when I got back there was LOADS of snot/mucus in my knickers and on me - what is this!??! My knickers were wet through. Is this normal? x

Was it just more than average discharge or clear/jelly like mucus? I have noticed alot more discharge since being in 3rd Tri, however if it is jelly/snot like then it could be part of your plug coming away! But this can happen weeks away from birth, apparently it grows back! x

I've been getting this for weeks, i asked my midwife and she said its all normal but didn't say what it was. Tis all normal don't worry xx

Hehe thanks ladies, just been for a swab but the doctor said everything looked normal and will just contact me if anything shows up on my results. But I described the frequent snottiness and they didnt seem concerned! x

I have it too hun. it is so gross and am also in panty liners 24/7. The other day when I wiped it actually looked like a see-through slug-could this really be the plug? At only 31 weeks? x

I dont think it is to be honest, I described all this to my midwife and they didnt look in the least bit worried just said it was normal. So dont worry my sweet! x

I have it too. It's like a snail in my pants - YUCK! I've had a few swabs and all came back normal xxx

I have just recently started getting this too. And heard its normal as long as no itching or odor is involved! Just another lovely part of pregnancy! lol

I know EXACTLY wut ur going through!! Since the weather where i live has been warmer it seems it gets worse. Heard its normal tho as long as there is no itching or odor or anything like that. Just a part of pregnancy!

ive had loads of jelly snot like discharge through my entire pregnancy... so it dosnt mean its your plug at all... the more active you are the bigger the increase in discharge... its normal... if you start to notice any blood streaks in it it could be your plug x
