Here they go!
1) when should I book my first OBGYN appointment? I am only 5 weeks.
2) When can you hear the heart beat?
3) When can you find out the gender?
4) At what time did you start having morning sickness?
5) How did you tell your parents/how did they react?
Thanks lovelies :)

1) ASAP i was 5 weeks when i found out went to health department so they could give me a test and give me a paper saying i was pregnant then went to the OB/GYN all the same week
2) I believe i heard bubs when i was 10 weeks
3) I found out the gender early at i think 17 weeks but normally you find out at 20 weeks
4) I had morning sickness before i knew i was pregnant, honestly thats why i even took a pregnancy test...and here i am 32 weeks and still have it. I think i was lucky enough not to have it for maybe a month in second trimester
5) I called my mom when i seen the positive pregnancy test, i was crying cause i was scared and she was really calm and came and picked me and my boyfriend at the time (now husband) up and we went to the beach and just had a nice day together.

Thank you for your answers! I think I will write my parents a letter. I am going to the clinic on friday for blood work, then to the doctor..I don't have an OBGYN though because I'm so young :\

1) when you call to schedule they usually won't let you in until you're 10-12 weeks; but it all depends on your history.
2) I think you can hear the HB as early as 10 weeks.
3) genitals don't fully form until after 16 weeks; they usually do this at your 20 week ultrasound.
4) I never got morning sickness; it varies with every woman and every pregnancy.
5) I just told them, they were excited.

1. Make a doctors appointment right away, they can refer you to a OBGYN.
2. I was lucky enough to hear LOs heart beat at 8 weeks, most doctors don't even try befor 12 weeks.
3. Around 17 weeks, but usually at your 20 week scan.
4. My morning sickness started at exactly 5 weeks. It's different for every women and every pregnancy.
5. I just came out and told my Mom two days after taking the test. It was hard, but worth it. She is my biggest support.
She was shocked and a little disappointed. But very excepting and forgiving.

Best of luck

1) ASAP - We dont have OBGYN's here but I got in with a doctor at 4wks and had my midwife by 5wks..
2) Again might be different but they dont listen here until 15wks.. Although you can see the HB from around 7wks..
3) Typically you can find out at you anormally scan around 20wks.. Although you can pay for a gender scan at 16wks..
4) I had nausea and sickness from 4wks to 15wks where I developed Hyperemesis and was admitted to hospital.. I was put on a drip and have been fine since :)
5) I phoned them as they were on holiday. My mum was fine. really excited.. she had 2 babies by my age so she couldnt say much.. My dad was okay.. He just liked to call me a dickhead everytime he spoke to me for around 2wks lol..
OH's parents were not best pleased but they're just as excited as all of us now - maybe even more so lol!

xx

1) when should I book my first OBGYN appointment? Now!
2) When can you hear the heart beat? Clearly, about 10 weeks +
3) When can you find out the gender? 16+ weeks for definite
4) At what time did you start having morning sickness? 8 weeks
5) How did you tell your parents/how did they react? I was drunk at my sisters 18th and she was mad at first but got over it.

1) when should I book my first OBGYN appointment? I am only 5 weeks.ASAP, I had mine at 4 weeks and it made things a lot easier! Plus, you will need your prenatal vitamins and whatnot :)

2) When can you hear the heart beat?I heard the twins heartbeats (clearly) for the first time at 14 weeks

3) When can you find out the gender? It is more accurate the further along you are. I found out I had two girlies at 20 weeks and 1 day ... I have known people who find out at 15/16 weeks though :)

4) At what time did you start having morning sickness?I had it from when I was 4/5 weeks till I was 22 weeks :(

5) How did you tell your parents/how did they react?I just sat on my dads bed and told him the day I found out - It made it sooo much easier to just come out and say it and get it off my chest. He was amazing and he told my mum for me, he also offered to tell FOB but I thought I best do that myself. Sooner rather than later is better if you haven't yet told your parents! Trust me.

1) when should I book my first OBGYN appointment?
Like all the ladies have said, ASAP! Get with a doctor so they can go over what you need to know & answer any other questions you might have.

2) When can you hear the heart beat?
I've been told as early as 6-7 weeks. But I believe you can only see it, not here it?

3) When can you find out the gender?
20 weeks, but some find out earlier.

4) At what time did you start having morning sickness?
5 weeks. (At the time I thought I just kept getting carsick) But it didn't start getting worse until about a week ago for me!

5) How did you tell your parents/how did they react?
I texted both my mom & dad. Mom freaked out but my dad was really calm. But she's starting to come around now.. I think!

Good luck to you! :flower:
