This board is just so nice! I've been on many forums and people are just so mean to eachother! Plus I'm always the newbee because why would I stick around if everyone's mean? But this board is different and I REALLY appriciate it! Thanks for helping me with all my newbee questions

I'll tell you a funny story, we JUST started ttc this month and I was trying to figure out my Ovulation day. My hubby was getting concerned I was getting too "scientific" with it. I told him something like "well we only have this one week/day to get pregnant and I'd rather not wait a month because you don't want to check my OV day"! HE's like that's not true... I'm like what's not true? He tells me "I don't think it's only ONE day that you ovulate a month (cycle)" ...I'm like yeah I think MOST women like 90% only ovulate once a month ONE egg (he thought it was 2 eggs cuz 2 tubes and it happends 2x or more a month). I told HIM to look it up lol

What are your funny stories of what you or hubs didnt know?

Lol. .. my hubby was taught in grade school that getting pregnant "is as easy as looking at it". Obviously he wasn't THAT vulnerable but he did think it would happen on the first try.
A year later we're still trying.

This is my OH! Haha - though to be fair when I first got off BC I thought it would be easy too! Going into cycle #10 here I can definitely say that's NOT true for all!

I recently watched The Great Sperm Race (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAnMymnJiLM&list=PLCDECC6C14006053D) and I made the OH watch it too - it REALLY opened my eyes (and especially his).

Not just my OH, but I was always under the impression that it was easy too, now here we are 20months later

I showed OH the Great Sperm Race and I think it really did help him understand some of whats going on, except now he always talks about how my defenses are blocking his guys

I agree I tried a few others also and BnB is the best!
My DH said "it isn't THAT small a window" when I tried to explain there are only a few key fertile days a month. Sigh... I really think he thinks there is a chance of getting pregnant any time outside of AF - he gets that it is a better chance closer to O but obviously doesn't get that it has to be very very close.
I haven't shown him anything to educate him just yet as he had performance anxiety for pretty much the first time ever the other day and I worry it will happen again if he knows how important certain days are.
