I had my 12 week scan this morning and everything is looking really good. 
Baby was being a bit naughty 
and jumping around loads so it took the sonographer a while to capture baby to take the fluid measurement behind the neck but she got there eventually. It measured 1.5mm which is great. I had my bloods taken (and didn't throw up which I have had a habit of doing in the past) and will get the results in the post in a couple of weeks.
The morning started out badly having pulled a muscle in my neck (still can't move it properly and it's painful) and then I forgot the bloody form so had to race home again to get it in order for them to do the scan. We got there in the end though and all is fine. I phoned my mother and MIL after the scan and they are both really pleased. My mother knew because she said last time I spoke to her I was too happy not to have become pregnant again. She said she'd better get knitting. I adore hand knits so she better had.
We asked for 4 photos instead of the two that they offer. You have to pay for the photos at my hospital (£4 for 2) as with many others. The sonographer gave us six for the price of 4 which was very nice of her so I have six good scan photos which I'm going to frame and hang on the wall. Is that weird?
My 20 week scan is booked for 8 weeks time. I can't wait and will be wishing the time away.
