im 34+2 weeks and had an emergancy growth scan today as im measuring the same as i was at 31 weeks. the scan seemed to go fine and was told there was nothing to worry about although my deepest pocket of fluid was 4cm, on my notes its says 4-10cm is classed as 'normal'. surely that would make it on the low side? has anyone else had this?

hi there i had this with my son, mine was at the lowest, and i just had to get it checked on reg basis, i went every 2 weeks then once aweek at the end and as long as it hadnt dropped they sent me on my way again, and i ended up been over due with son in the end so i wudnt worry to much, if they were concernd they will get u back to check it, gud luck x

thanks for your reply its really been bugging me, i'll see what my midwife has to say hopefully she'll be happy enough x

My fluid index is 9.3. (total) at 24 weeks :( not sure what that equates to per pocket, 8-20 is normal but I've been told mine is at the lower end of normal. I had the same with my son and by 33 +6 it had dropped to less than 5cm in total so had to deliver the same day. I'm sure if there monitoring it you will be fine :) the day of my scan and delivery I noticed movements had become uncomfortable due to lack of fluid,( something to watch for) x

i had lw fluid with my son it dropeed to 2.5cm at 38 week and as my lo was a good size they induced me. they will monitor you hun, they advised me to be more cautious as with low fluid protects the baby so yo will tend to be all baby.

Thank you for the replies! Iv seen so many midwives over the weeks I just worry things are being over looked. But iv got an appointment 2mz so hopefully everything will go ok xx
