I'm having a really low day. I'm on CD56 after my first cycle of clomid. No AF and no BFP so obviously it didn't work. I think I got my hopes up too high when I was prescribed Clomid and now I'm getting the crash.
I know I'm just feeling sorry for myself but it's hurting me so much

Sorry for the negative rant.

*virtual higs sent your was jelly bean* :hugs:

im sorry your feel that way. i dont know your outline history with ttc but i wish you all the best.

i had a very low day the begining of the month and i seriously couldnt consider another day not being pregnant or beng a mum  and i know its the worst feeling i have ever felt!

only thing i can recommend is watching a good old comedy or a good song. i find watching a comedy makes me feel just a little cheerier.

i been ttc no.1 since august took me 98 days to get my first af and in thoses 98 day i become depressed and now on medication for that aswell as another illness i been diagnoses with (HS disease)

just remember you are not alone and when you are feeling low there is alway someone worse off than you.

keep trying and keeping hope :flower:

I had a day like that yesterday..I'm about to see a fert specialist tommorrow and am very worried..I was feeling like How could i not have a baby how can I go through life without one...I went shopping for some groceries and saw a lady and her husband and they looked quite old like an older mother and father and they had a bub..and they weren't minding somebodys kid..it was theirs..and I'm thinking if they can have one why can't I?

life is too unfair....

I'm so sorry hun. I sooo know how you feel.

Have you talked to you doc about getting on Provera and then upping your Clomid dose next month? A lot of women don't O their first round of Clomid, especially if it's only 50mg. I only had 1, maybe 2 mature follicles on 50mg, and this month of 50mg, no follies at all so far. I'll probably be upped to 100mg next month.

Are you going to an OB/Gyn or an RE? I know with my OB/Gyn, I was unhappy because they wouldn't put me on Provera until I made it to CD60 without AF and they wouldn't do any monitoring at all. I feel like u/s are really important when you're on Clomid, especially with the possibility of hyper-stimulation and things like that. With my new RE, I'm really well monitored, so they know if the Clomid is working or not and can give me Provera sooner if things aren't working. And since OPK's don't always work with Clomid, the monitoring is really helpful for knowing what is going on.

If you're not getting any monitoring at all, I'd get a new doctor.

I've got it through my GP. I'm meant to go up to 100mg next cycle and the same the cycle after that. I'm not monitored for the first 3 cycles but if they don't work then I'm sent to a specialist for 3 monitored cycles. I think that's just the way it's done on the NHS.

Thanks to everyone for their replies. The loneliness of it is one of the hardest parts and you ladies really help with that. xxx
I just want AF so I can start the next cycle!!

very sorry to hear this jellybean.

Im also on my 1st round of clomid and was putting my hopes on it and am feeling disappointed as the FS said I would o cd14 and have a normal 28 day cycle - but not happened!

How long are your cycles normally? do u normally o on your own? Do u normally get AF with any tablets? I hope clomid does length our cycles x

Before I started on birth control I had normal (30 days I think) cycles. Then I was on depo for a couple of years and the implant for about 6 years after that and didn't have periods at all. Since I've been off birth control my cycles have been all over the place, anywhere from 33 to 66 days. My AF could last up to 20 days sometimes as well. Clomid shortened my AF to 5 days (Yay) but my cycle is now on day 56 and counting.
I had 2 CD21 tests before going onto clomid which were negative for ovulation. My GP thinks I do ovulate as I have periods but not sure I agree. I have high prolactin due to medication (I have bipolar disorder). I've been charting my temps since we started TTC but they're all over the place.

Here's hoping our 2nd Clomid rounds are the lucky ones!
