Low Iron?

Just curious why some Formulas say "When lower iron is preferred"? What circumstance would warrant low iron?

I think certain tummy conditions or also because it can cause constipation? here in the US we can only get low iron formula by RX because the amount of iron is regulated and they say the babies need it
